Nancy Haff, MD, MPH

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MEDICINE, HARVARD MEDICAL SCHOOL

Dr. Nancy Haff earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she later served as Chief Resident. Dr. Haff also earned a Master of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Before joining Exceptional Health, Dr. Haff practiced primary care at MGH, where she built a reputation for thoughtful, evidence-based medicine grounded in empathy and partnership. She also serves as an Investigator in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she is core faculty in the Center for Healthcare Delivery Sciences and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her academic work focuses on improving how primary care is delivered and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.

Dr. Haff’s clinical interests include preventive medicine and the management of cardiometabolic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. She emphasizes evidence-based lifestyle and medication strategies to prevent disease and extend the healthspan, while helping each patient develop practical, personalized plans that support long-term wellness.
At Exceptional Health, Dr. Haff looks forward to practicing medicine in a setting that allows for true continuity, time to think, and deeper relationships with patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Haff is married and has three children. Their golden retriever, Sadie, completes the family. She enjoys hiking, running, spinning, biking, skiing, yoga, high-intensity interval training, and traveling.
