Medical Assistant

Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:50 AM to 4:00 PM
Location: In person – 70 Hastings Street, Wellesley, MA 02481

This is a full time, in person position supporting physicians in a busy concierge practice. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, operationally organized, and comfortable taking ownership of patient flow from rooming through post visit follow up.

This role requires maturity, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate provider and patient needs in a fast-paced environment.


Clinical Responsibilities

  • Room patients efficiently and accurately
  • Obtain vital signs and complete medication reconciliation
  • Perform phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and specimen processing
  • Administer vaccines and document appropriately
  • Assist physicians during patient visits

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Handle patient phone communication professionally
  • Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate outside testing
  • Manage inbox and Epic workflows
  • Maintain exam room readiness and clinical supply inventory
  • Ensure compliance with practice protocols and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Epic experience
  • Minimum 2 years of medical administrative support experience
  • Strong phlebotomy skills
  • Ability to work with patients ages 16 to 100

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in internal medicine or concierge practice
  • Strong comfort with independent workflow management
