Exceptional Health was created to bring focus back to the patient

I started Exceptional Health in 2011 to create a practice where patients could feel genuinely heard and understood. Too often, traditional medicine leaves little time for connection, so my vision was to build a concierge internal medicine practice in the Boston area where relationships, trust, and access come first.

Our model gives patients more time with their physician, same-day or next-day appointments, minimal wait times, and seamless coordination with leading specialists. From preventive visits and urgent consultations to complex disease management and on-site services, we provide comprehensive care in a setting designed for comfort and confidence.

What does “having access to my doctor” mean?

Having access to your doctor means having a direct and personalized line of communication with your primary care physician whenever you need it. You can reach out for medical advice, consultations, and follow-ups through secure messaging, phone calls, or virtual visits. Your physician knows your medical history, understands your needs, and is readily available to guide and coordinate your care.

Does Exceptional Health take insurance?

Yes, Exceptional Health takes all major insurance plans with the exclusion of Medicaid. As a member of the Mass General Brigham network, Exceptional Health is considered in network for most patients. Any co-payments, insurance deductibles, and non-covered clinical services are the responsibility of the patient as determined by their insurance company. Medical services are billed through our parent company, Private Healthcare Group, LLC.

Do you offer telemedicine or virtual visits?

Yes. We offer virtual visits through Patient Gateway, Zoom, and Doximity, all of which are secure and HIPAA compliant.
