Thank you so much for fitting me into your practice and for being the kind of doctor that I have been searching for years. I have come to believe that you are rare gems (those who will listen and look at the same time, be willing to learn and every now and then offer a Kleenex® box…).
For the first time in many years, I do not feel so completely alone with my health care. Words cannot express my gratitude.
Thank you for all of your good work! You saved my life and I am forever grateful for your care.
I am writing to thank you for your support and caring. I truly appreciated your willingness to push past my “comfort zone” so that I could gain insight into the fears and insecurities that underline my continued reliance on alcohol and cigarettes as a coping mechanism. I have learned alternative and healthful ways to manage stress that improve rather than harm my health and well-being. You are the first doctor to have taken the time and energy to understand my circumstances and help me to understand that there are alternative paths one can take on “life’s journey”.
Dear Dr. Kate,
You are the most caring, devoted and brilliant doctor that I have ever had. Because of your vast knowledge, you have saved me and my husband from serious health threats. As you know I have been back and forth to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital over the last few months and I have learned how many of the hospital staff hold you in very high regard that it makes me feel so proud and lucky to be your patient. I thank you for always going above and beyond the call of duty. The extreme trust I have in your medical decision making, allows me to take solace in your care and not have to figure out the pros and cons of every available test or treatment option. I am forever grateful to having found you as my medical doctor and to have benefited from your scientific knowledge but also from your warmth and compassion. You are truly an exceptional physician and I wish you all the best.
I am so lucky to have you in my life as a physician and a friend. I only wish I could give back to you what you’ve given me all these years! You will always hold a special place in my heart… Because you truly are an amazing doctor!
In my thirty-five years of practice, I have never encountered a doc with more intelligence, passion, and purpose. Those patients I have referred to her practice go out of their way to thank me for the referral. Given the rapid rise in popularity of concierge medicine, I think it is time for Boston to investigate the specialty and to identify the ‘stars’ in the field, starting with Dr. Isselbacher. Thanks for looking into this very special physician.
